I don't count how many toads in my garden but as far as i know there are 2 black colour big toads as they always try to make home in my wet kitchen, below the sink...... Now that i have fix the "pagar" on my kitchen gate after finding snake, i use to see them jumping outside at night.
This little yellow colour toad is new to me! It's a bit very alert that i couldn't snap any near shot!

Yes, they are food for snakes. But in my garden, they are toys for my dogs.
ReplyDeleteIt was a practice in younger days to shake off school shoes before wearing them, just in case there is a toad or centipede, or a snake!... haha. Having toads around is a definite sign of healthy habitat for a garden.... It's alright malar.
ReplyDeleteoften its the rat that attracts snakes compared to toads & frogs. And being this little one, I doubt a snake want to hunt one risking all the way to a housing area.
