Gardening a game!

I was invited by Bangchik , an excellent gardener from Putrajaya for a game called " gardening a game"! I'm suppose to list down 10 things i love to do! and then invite another 10 bloggers for the game!

Here are ten things which I love to do:

1) Gardening! I pick this interest from my mother who love gardening but she love flowering plants! I started gardening while i was 11yrs old! Among my 1st plants are Balsam, Cosmo and Portulaca! Long beans was my first vegetable!

2) I love to cook! I try to invent new recipes and sometimes end up with awful dishes ! hahhahaa....

3) Planting new plants! I use to explore new plants sometimes without knowing what's the species name.... often i blog and ask my fellow gardeners for the name and how to care for them! It's art of gardening? May be...

4) I love travelling but I'm not frequent traveller. I always make a point to go vacation to other country at least once a year! So far only neighboring countries! Western & Europe are far away from my budget!  I love to learn their culture, history and so on!

5) Doing Art including drawings and "Koolam" such as rangooli ( it's an Indian art on the floor) !

6) Spend time with my little son! I feel 24hrs is not enough while I'm with him! Children are gift from god which is so precious! They bright up our gloomy days with their laughter!

7) Decorating my house! I keep re-arranging furnitures at my home! I'm Interior designer in my dream!

8) Reading books and magazine ( but not celebrities regarding magazine)

9) Reading gardener's blog! That's my another inspiration in my gardening!

10) Baking is my another favorite now! I love to bake cakes as it take shorter time than biscuit!

Now i invite 10 bloggers for this game!

1) Onezzz - Malaysia
2) Gardentropic - India
3) My Nice Garden - Malaysia
4) Greenish Thumb - US
5) Growing Vegetable with green fingers - Singapore
6) Open Kitchen Concept - Singapore
7) Steps green space - Malaysia
8) My little potted garden - Malaysia
9) My sunny Happy Garden - Malaysia
10) Petunialee - Singapore

The rule of this game is to:
1) Inform who invite you
2) What are the 10 things you like to do
3) Invite another 10 other bloggers

Enjoy!

  3. Thanks for the invitation Malar! I have pretty much the same interest as you do. I do some baking. I love to cook my own meals than eat out - it's healthier and tastier this way. Your interest in Koolam is a good thing.

Enjoy your time with your son! I am sure 24 hours is just not enough for you ;-)

  5. Malar, thank you very much for this game invitation. I am very honored to be in your list. So good to know more about you. You have made a wise decision. A mom is the best friend and most qualified teacher in the world for a little boy.

  7. Hi Malar, thanks for inviting me for tis game! What an honour. It's great to learn more about you through this game. Wow, you love to do Kolam. I love to see kolam and take photos of them. Usually during Deepavali, many of the malls in town would be decorated with kolam. Or during weddings. I admire the creativity in making the kolam designs!

  8. rangooli sounds interesting - I'll have to look into it more.

Thanks for inviting me to join the fun! This is hard because there are no real rules - just name 10 things? I'll have to think about it! Thanks again!
